Workwear was never meant to be seen.
It was made to be used, worn every day, built to endure.
Over time, those same garments left the workplace and entered fashion.
But what stayed with them wasn’t the look, it was the intention behind them:
honesty in construction, purpose in every detail.
This collection starts from there.
At its core is the Type 1 jacket: one of the most essential and uncompromising pieces ever made.
We studied it not to replicate it, but to understand what makes it timeless.
From that, we developed our own version in two directions:
raw selvedge denim - rigid, structured, designed to evolve with wear
and moleskin - a fabric often used in traditional workwear garments, especially French work jackets, valued for its exceptional durability, dense weave, natural resistance, and soft yet compact hand feel.
The design brings together these two worlds:
the clarity of the Type 1 and the character of the French Work Jacket.
This is where the collection begins.
- Fit: Cropped boxy fit, dropped shoulders, and adjustable back buckle tab.
- Fabric: Rigid raw selvedge denim, designed to fade and develop unique patina over time.
- Hardware: Aged copper-toned metal buttons, echoing vintage workwear construction.
- Details: Front pleats for ease of movement, reinforced stitching, and classic tobacco-colored contrast stitching.
